Dear Barrie, Thank Barrie for making Hockey Night in Barrie V the best yet. This year's game raised over $226,000, the largest amount on record for a single day charity event for the RVH! Your support of this event is greatly appreciated by all involved in this extremely worthy cause. The Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre at Royal Victoria Hospital is an intricate part of the health care services in our area and your contribution will have a lasting impact on the lives of so many residents and their families for years to come.

The Hockey Night in Barrie V roster has grown again with the addition of Colorado Avalanche forward Steve Downie, Boston Bruins Aaron Johnson, Leafs legend Steve Thomas, and OHL up and comer Dylan Corson.  This year’s charity hockey game will be on August 16th 2012 at the Barrie Molson Centre.

07/16/2012 MP Patrick Brown is delighted to announce that the roster for Hockey Night in Barrie V has grown yet again with the addition of Hockey Night in Canada`s Don Cherry.  Current NHL talent including Colt`s favourite and Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele and Stefan Della Rovere of the St. Louis Blues have also confirmed their participation.

Barrie-MP Patrick Brown is pleased to announce that Hockey Night in Barrie V will be taking place on August 16th 2012 at the Barrie Molson Centre. All proceeds raised will be directly benefitting the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre’s Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Care Centre. Funds raised in past events have totalled over $600,000! “I am very excited to announce the start of Hockey Night in Barrie ticket sales.  We are set to make Hockey Night in Barrie V the biggest charity hockey game yet," said MP Brown.
