Please join us for the Second Annual “Hockey Night in Barrie.”
We are well aware that the “can you help out” phone never stops ringing, however, we sincerely believe we must come together as a community and support the RVH in building their expansion. This larger facility in Barrie will bring new programs, 101 new beds, and a Simcoe- Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre.
The 2008 Participants Included Hockey Hall of Famer Mike Gartner, NHL Superstar Rick Nash, Atlanta Thrasher Bryan Little, Anaheim Mighty Duck Ric Jackman, Chicago Blackhawk Aaron Johnson, Barrie Colt Michael Hutchinson, Cabinet Ministers, Parliamentarians, Members of the Medical Community, Canadian Rock Band Sloan, Canadian National Figure Skating Champion Jennifer Robinson, Barrie Colts Alumni and close to 4000 Barrie Residents.
This summer on August 13, I am hosting the Second Annual HOCKEY NIGHT IN BARRIE. Much work remains to be done and I take this opportunity to invite you to help make this years event an even larger success. The goal is to surpass the $100,000 raised last year. Most of last year’s team is returning and we are joined by a new star studded line up that includes the likes of former Leaf star Shayne Corson and current Colorado Avalanche star Darcy Tucker.
